This premium linen thread is ideal for darning, mending or embroidery on light-medium weight linen garments e.g. shirts, trousers, shorts and skirts.
 
Grown in France and dyed in Sweden to strict European environmental standards. No toxic chemicals are used in the dyeing process to ensure the thread is free from heavy environmental toxins. 
 
Linen (flax) requires significantly less water, land, and little to no chemical pesticides to cultivate compared to conventional cotton making it a more sustainable option.
 
2-ply thread with a tight twist which won't split apart as you weave unlike most commercially available embroidery floss. This thread can be doubled or tripled up if you require something a little thicker for your mending project.
 
Smooth unwaxed thread to help you to create a natural looking repair that blends in better with the rest of your garment.
 
Each card contains approximately 10m (33 ft).
