Want to get mending with your new (or vintage) darning loom? I'll help you get to grips with learning how to weave a patch using a Speedweve style mini loom. Follow along step-by-step For the past 2 years I've been using a Speedweve loom in my mending and I've discovered tons of tips and tricks that I can't wait to share with you. What Equipment You'll Need: - 10, 14 or 21-hook 'Speedweve' style mini loom (replica or vintage). - 1 x long darning needle or Sashiko needle. - 2-3m of cotton thread or yarn. For example: Sashiko thread, embroidery floss, crochet cotton, darning wool or laceweight knitting yarn. - An elastic band, hair bobble or metal spring. - Scissors - A ruler - Fabric marker pen or tailor's chalk Optional: a needle threader.
