Created from pieces of washed-up pottery all tumbled in the rough Atlantic seas, these minders are the cutest temporary resting place for a needle or pin or two. If you're forever losing your needle whilst stitching, then you need one of these!

This collection features stoneware sherds from antique Victorian 'Frank Cooper' & 'James Keiller' marmalade jars. These jars were used in years gone by to sell orange marmalade. James Keiller & Sons are famous for helping pioneer commercial marmalade production and a pot of Cooper's marmalade was actually taken on Captain Robert Scott's expedition to Antarctica, as discovered by a jar being found in the ice many years later!

Place the decorative side on the front of your work and position the super strong backing magnet on the reverse side, sandwiching fabric between the two magnets. The needle (or other tools) can then be placed on the decorative side where the magnet will hold it securely.

Alternatively wear it on your clothes or place it on the table whilst stitching.

Obviously a plain magnet would do the job all the same, but that's just a bit too boring for us. Wherever there's an opportunity to upcycle something you can count on us to do just that! From tumbled treasure to a handy repair tool.

Measurements

#2 is the smallest piece and measures approx 1.8cm x 2.4cm

Safety Information

Please keep away from children.
