This needle is the perfect size for repairs to fine-medium weight knitwear.
Tapestry needles have an elongated eye for stitching with yarn and a blunt point to avoid snags when weaving through knitted fabrics.
The larger eye and shorter length also make it the ideal needle to use when sewing in loose tails at the end of a mend.
