Murano Glass Head Pins - Extra Long (x20)
A mini set of 20 glass-head steel pins packaged in a beautiful glass bottle with cork stopper for easy storage.
These extra long, coloured pins are ideal for Swiss darning as well as patching and general repairs to thicker/heavy-weight fabrics.
The heat resistant glass head allows you to keep the pins in place whilst you iron your garment and the coloured head makes it easier to spot them in the fabric.
Still produced on the original machines still in operation at the BOHIN factory in Normany, France using authentic glass from the Italian island of Murano.
Each assortment includes the following colours: white, black, red, pea green, mustard orange, yellow and dark blue.

48mm (length) x 0.80mm (diameter).
Suitable for:
- patching, hemming or mending a seam in heavy/thick clothing.
- Swiss darning using pins to hold the position of loose knit stitches.
